Privacy Policy
Effective date: 18 June 2026
Last reviewed: 18 June 2026
AIStockLearn Education Inc. (“AIStockLearn,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use and disclose it, and the rights available to you under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Quebec’s Act modernising legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information (commonly referred to as Law 25), and other applicable laws.
This policy applies to personal information collected through aistocklearn.pro, our contact and enrolment processes, email correspondence, in-person seminars at our Kanata reading room, and remote learning packets. It does not apply to third-party websites linked from our pages.
1. Accountability & Privacy Contact
We are accountable for personal information under our control. Questions, access requests and complaints may be directed to:

535 Legget Drive, Suite 200, Kanata, ON K2K 3B8
Email: [email protected]
Phone: +1 (613) 555-0148
We will acknowledge privacy inquiries within ten business days and aim to resolve them within thirty days, subject to complexity and legal limits.
2. What Personal Information We Collect
We collect only information reasonably necessary for the purposes described below:
- Identity and contact data: name, email address, phone number, mailing address, organisation (if applicable).
- Enrolment and transaction data: modules selected, payment confirmation references (we do not store full credit card numbers on our servers), attendance records, worksheet submissions you choose to share for feedback.
- Communications: content of emails, contact form messages and seminar notes you provide voluntarily.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed and referral URL when you use our website — see our Cookie Policy for details on cookies and analytics.
- Consent records: timestamps and choices for cookies, marketing email opt-in, and contact form PIPEDA consent.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories such as health information, government identifiers or detailed financial account numbers. Please do not submit account numbers, passwords or requests for personalised investment advice through general contact channels.
3. Purposes of Collection & Legal Bases
We collect and use personal information for purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances:
- Responding to inquiries and providing enrolment information;
- Delivering educational materials, seminars and reference-desk support under contract;
- Processing payments and issuing tax receipts where applicable;
- Maintaining security, fraud prevention and rate limiting on forms;
- Improving website usability through aggregated analytics (with consent where required);
- Complying with legal, regulatory and tax obligations;
- Sending service-related notices such as errata and schedule changes.
Where Quebec Law 25 requires a specific legal basis, we rely primarily on contract performance (enrolment you request), consent (contact form, cookies, optional newsletters), and legitimate interest (site security and non-intrusive analytics balanced against your rights).
4. Consent
We obtain meaningful consent before collecting, using or disclosing personal information, except where permitted or required by law. Consent may be express (checkbox on the contact form, cookie banner choice) or implied (providing your email when you clearly expect a reply). You may withdraw consent for optional processing — such as analytics cookies or marketing emails — at any time by contacting [email protected] or using the cookie preference tools. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed or processing necessary to provide services you continue to request.
5. CASL & Commercial Electronic Messages
Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) governs commercial electronic messages (CEMs). AIStockLearn sends CEMs only with valid consent or within applicable exemptions (for example, messages that solely confirm a transaction or provide warranty information related to a service you purchased).
Optional newsletters about new module editions or public workshops include an unsubscribe mechanism in every message. Enrolment-related emails about your active module are service messages, not marketing, though you may still ask us to use mail-only contact where feasible. We do not sell or rent email lists. Unsubscribe requests are honoured within ten business days.
6. Disclosure to Third Parties
We do not sell personal information. We disclose information only to:
- Service providers who assist with hosting (OVHcloud Canada Inc.), email delivery, payment processing and document printing — bound by contractual confidentiality and data-handling terms;
- Professional advisers (lawyers, accountants) under privilege when necessary;
- Authorities when required by valid legal process or to protect rights and safety.
Some service providers may process data outside Canada. When information crosses borders, it remains subject to this policy and contractual safeguards, though foreign laws may differ from Canadian protections. Details are available on request.
7. Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes collected or as required by law:
- Contact form submissions: up to twenty-four months unless an enrolment relationship continues;
- Enrolment and payment records: seven years for tax and audit purposes;
- Cookie consent records: six months (mirrored in browser storage);
- Server logs: up to ninety days for security review.
When retention ends, we delete or anonymise information using reasonable technical measures.
8. Security Safeguards
We implement administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information: HTTPS encryption on public pages, access controls for staff folders, password-protected PDF packets where warranted, and staff training on confidentiality. No method of transmission over the Internet is perfectly secure; we encourage you to use unique passwords on any learner portal account and to notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised access.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your province of residence, you may have the right to:
- Access personal information we hold about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- Withdraw consent for optional processing;
- Request deletion where no overriding legal retention applies;
- Receive information in a structured, commonly used format where technically feasible (data portability, particularly relevant for Quebec residents);
- Be informed of automated decision-making — we do not use automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.
Quebec residents may also request cessation of dissemination of personal information in specific circumstances prescribed by Law 25. We will verify identity before fulfilling requests and may charge a reasonable fee for manifestly unfounded or excessive access requests as permitted by law.
10. Children
Our curriculum is designed for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under sixteen without parental consent. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
11. Privacy Impact & Policy Updates
We review this policy when we introduce new tools or material changes to processing. The effective date at the top will change accordingly. Material changes affecting Quebec residents will be communicated through the website or direct notice where Law 25 requires. Continued use of optional services after notice may constitute acceptance of updated terms for those services.
12. Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (PIPEDA) or, for Quebec matters, the Commission d’accГЁs Г l’information du Québec. We ask that you give us an opportunity to resolve concerns first.
