Educational Services Beyond the Core Modules

AIStockLearn is organised around reading, not around managing money. The services below support individuals, community groups and institutions that want structured financial-literacy materials without crossing into registrant activity. Every engagement begins with a scope letter that states what we will and will not provide: we supply syllabi, facilitation guides and reference support; we do not review personal portfolios, recommend securities or execute trades.

Services are billed in Canadian dollars. Quotes depend on cohort size, format and customization level. Contact the curriculum desk for a written estimate before confirming dates.

Critical-Reading Workshops

Half-day and full-day workshops for adult learners who want intensive practice with a single document type — for example, a mutual fund facts document, a press release or a regulator alert. Workshops follow strict ground rules: participants cite page numbers, facilitators redirect personal portfolio questions to registrants, and no ticker-specific recommendations are offered. Materials include annotated exemplars, a facilitator script and take-home citation cards. Workshops can be hosted at our Kanata reading room or at your venue within the National Capital Region, subject to availability. Remote delivery uses breakout rooms with shared annotation protocols. Typical group size is eight to twenty participants to preserve discussion quality.

  • Pre-workshop reading assignment (10—20 pages)
  • Printed or PDF workbook with answer key for self-study
  • Certificate of attendance (non-credit, non-designation)
  • Not included: investment recommendations, tax advice, legal opinions

Custom Reading Lists for Libraries & Community Groups

Public libraries, seniors’ centres and workplace learning committees sometimes need a vetted reading path without building one from scratch. We assemble annotated bibliographies aligned with your audience’s prior knowledge and time budget. Lists distinguish primary sources from commentary, flag paywalled items and note Canadian versus international jurisdiction where relevant. Each entry includes a one-paragraph rationale and discussion questions. We do not accept commissions from publishers or issuers; selections are made on pedagogical merit alone. Delivery includes a facilitator guide so volunteers can run sessions without implying they are investment professionals. Revision support is available for twelve months after delivery.

  • 15—40 titled entries with call numbers or stable URLs
  • Difficulty rating and estimated reading hours
  • Optional Kanata consultation for librarians
  • Not included: stock picks, fund rankings, performance forecasts

Reference-Desk Email Support

Enrolled participants may write to the reference desk with questions about assigned readings: definitions, cross-references, historical context or where to locate a cited document in the public domain. Responses are educational and cite sources; they are not tailored investment advice. Turnaround is typically two business days. The desk cannot opine on whether a security is suitable for you, interpret your personal tax situation or comment on unpublished rumours. Questions that require registrant expertise receive a standard referral list maintained for each province. This service is included with module enrolment and available as a standalone subscription for alumni who continue self-directed study using our errata notices.

  • Up to four substantive questions per month on assigned materials
  • Written answers suitable for printing and filing
  • Not included: real-time chat, portfolio diagnostics, trading guidance

Institutional Seminar Licences

Universities, continuing-education departments and professional associations may license AIStockLearn seminar packs for non-commercial use. Licences grant permission to reproduce reading packets for a defined cohort, use our slide templates and display the AIStockLearn attribution line. Licensees must not alter disclaimers or imply that completion confers registrant status. We provide train-the-trainer sessions so your staff understand facilitation boundaries under Canadian securities law concepts at a high level — this is not legal advice. Annual licences cover one module series; multi-year agreements receive errata updates automatically. Pricing scales with expected enrolment and includes a compliance checklist for marketing copy review.

  • Editable facilitator slides (PDF and source)
  • Marketing language approved by our publisher
  • Quarterly publisher call for edition updates
  • Not included: co-branding as an investment adviser, revenue-sharing on trades

Remote Self-Paced Packets with Optional Check-Ins

Not everyone can attend Kanata seminars. Self-paced packets mirror module syllabi: readings, worksheets, model annotations and a final reflection prompt. Optional monthly check-ins are thirty-minute video calls to discuss comprehension — not portfolio strategy. Packets ship as password-protected PDFs with stable pagination for citation. Physical binders are available within Canada for an additional materials fee. Alumni may purchase single-module packets without re-enrolling in live cohorts. We track edition numbers so you know when a packet has been superseded by regulatory or accounting changes. Group discounts apply for three or more registrations from the same household or organisation.

  • Complete syllabus, glossary and answer key for worksheets
  • Access to errata mailing list for twelve months
  • Not included: graded accreditation, CE credits unless arranged separately
